How Freedom Spray works:
Fipronil in Freedom spray is a new generation broad-spectrum ectoparsiticidal belonging to phenylpyrazole class. Fipronil disrupts the insect's central nervous system by blocking the passage of chloride ions through the GABA receptor and glutamate receptor (GluCl). Fipronil is comparatively safe to use on mammals as its action is specific to GABA receptors of insect and glutamate receptor (GluCl) does not exist in mammals.
